Early last month I was hired by “The A’s”, to do a photoshoot for their 5 year anniversary. Actually, Jeff hired me and kept it as a surprise until the last minute for his beautiful wife, Sara. How awesome is that?! He wanted to do the shoot exactly on the day of their anniversary and everything worked out perfectly! The day was lovely and overcast (I love shooting outdoors when it’s overcast!), if a tad bit muggy, but hey, it was August!
The following are only some of my favorite images from their shoot.
This couple adores eating ice cream at Three Scoops in Brighton Center, so we started off there…
Jeff expressed that he wanted to do something symbolic for their 5 year anniversary. This was especially important to him, because they didn’t have the luxury of professional photography on their wedding day. When he informed me that the traditional gift for a 5 year anniversary is ‘wood’, I suggested a heavily wooded location! He dug the idea, so we made plans to do the second half of the shoot at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain…
Yeah. The Arboretum images are my personal favorites, for sure. But you know me – I love dramatic lighting.
The “A’s” ROCKED this shoot! They were very comfortable in front of my camera and trusted my direction…they were absolute dream clients! Happy anniversary, Jeff and Sara! Enjoy!

I used to work with Jeff a few years back… these are wonderful!
Thank you! I enjoyed doing this shoot for them immensely!
